Hey all, I just have a question since i'm a "newbie" to the PSP modding scene.

When converting an ISO to a CSO, I know that the filesize decreases. My question is, if it's compressing the file...does this mean the quality of the graphics, loading times, gameplay, etc. decrease as well? Or is it EXACTLY the same? What exactly is going on with the file when it compresses it? Thanks.

Well, the quality doesn't change, though in a few circumstances the framerate may suffer a little compared with iso's.

When you compress the file it doesn't actually take anything out, just makes it "fit" in a smaller space, but it takes the psp slightly longer to read the information as it's more compacted.
