Help! Device IO ControlFailed 1117 error with hitachi 59dj

help I get this error when attempting to flash my drive. Is it bricked it still opens and closes.

Ok something told me to put a disc in the drive idk what but it worked. In the future if you get weird problems and you can open the disc tray its not bricked and try w/e over again with a game in there.

i dont think its bricked ,,,have you tried flashing with the toolbox?and is your light on your 360 flashing the whole time your trying to flash it?if not its not completly in modeb and youll get all kinds of different errors
