I just downloaded a psx game, ntsc version. I am using a fat ps2 and swap magic 3.6

I burnt the game at 32x using nero, but on the ps2 with cd version swap magic it says invalid ps2 disc.

Do I need to burn it slower and with a special setting?

I hear that the swap magic cd is iffy at times, and perhaps I am not using good enough cd-r media? I am using office depot brand right now.

If anybody has experience with backing up and playing their psx games, please shed some insight on how to get mine to work properly.

Yes, my ps2 backups work, just not this psx one.

Swap magic will not work for PSX games. Only PS2 games. You will need breaker pro for PSX games.
