When I 'SAVE AVI' using DVD2AVI to create a segment from vob file to AVI, the audio portion doesn't process - I can't hear anything! I see the video but when I try different settings for the audio, I can't get it on the AVI??? Any help, thanks! oliver@formdigital.com

I never did like DVD2Anything! Try DVDx, it was able to rip movies where DVD2AVI dropped the audio.

Will DVD2AVI convert a VOB file straight up into an AVI file ? Or is the process much more than that ?

DVD2AVI isn"t really meant for converting DVD 2 AVI, DVD2AVI is mostly used as a Frameserver for frameserveing Mpeg2/vob files to other programs and it is the very best program at what it does...DVD2AVI will allways Make a Seperate audio and Video file when makeing an AVI file..if there wasn"t any audio files in the Folder with the AVI video then it is Probably because you didn"t set it up Correctly...You have to make sure that "Audio" is set to "Track #1" and under "Audio" to "Dolby Digital" is set to "Demux" so now when you make an AVI you will have an AVI video file and an AC3 audio file, Now you just use a program like "Avi-Mux" to mux the audio and Video together....

Worked great! I used BeSweet to convert AC3 to WAV, but now how do I bring together the WAV to the video AVI? You mentioned "AVIMUX"? thanks
