I have a question. I JUST got my swap magic disk and I tried a copied game. It didnt work, so i figured my burn didnt work right. So I burned another copy with what i thought were the right settings. but when I put it in the PS2 after swap magic loaded, I got the red screen saying its not a compatible game. well before i wasted another disk, I tried soemthign. I loaded swap magic, and I put in GUItar Hero 80s. this is the real disk too, not a copy. Well I hit load program, and I still got the red screen. Is this normal? or is somehting wrong with my ps2 or swap magic?

Can you go through it step by step of how you tried to play it, from inserting the magic disk to loading the backup.

sounds to me that whatever other mod you have (you do know that you need another mod to use Swap Magic, right???) is still letting the PS2 reset when you open it to swap the discs. This will cause the error your getting.

nevermind i got it working. The 1st disk I was using never worked, and just kept going back to the home menu, and i kept trying again. well for whatever reason any disk was doing that. Being an idiot, I never even thought to actually give the system a hard restart before trying my working disk. Im not having a problem with any backup disks now
