Hello
I have XP and the following has started to happen recently:
When I want to update any software,and I click on any of the buttons for updating the respective software, the pc freezes.
Secondly, the same freeze happened when I tried to put in my serial key that came with a program I purchased recently. As soon as I put in the key and clicked to press 'Next', it froze.
Both cases it froze so that I had to start the pc, then it worked normally until again I attempted the same functions, with same results.

Please help me with this.
