the features of this forum aren't designed to meet the every want and need of every 13-year-old who finds a way online. most of the capabilities of AD developed out of necessity to spread knowledge given by a more mature member base than many tech forums out there.
if you don't like it, there's plenty of other little forums online where reasonable knowledge, common sense, and a usable understanding of english aren't required.

Changing username is not allowed, the main reason being the fact that other users and moderators get to know you by your nick and changing it confuses things.
