I am having some trouble with the save data lately, all my save data just disappers and instead i see alot of corrupted data icons(an endless list of them). After this happens games sometimes run (isos) but sometimes they don't, but I still can't load any save data. And even though i deleted all my save data through pc (connected psp with pc through usb cable) the corrupted data icons remain and i can't even delete them through the psp

this happened when i saved a game (nfs most wanted - iso not umd) or when i deleted some save data from the mem stick.

This thing is really driving me crazy and I tried formatting my psp several times but still after a while it happens again,
my PSP is 3.03 OE-C, if it can be of any help.

Hope someone can help me out and hope I have posted in the right forum too,
thankx in advance everyone

It sounds like you have a fake and/or damaged memory stick.

The only solution that I can give you is to buy a new one.

i don't think the memory stick is fake but i think it could be damaged though, does is get damaged if you transfer a lot of data and format it trough pc? and how about the firmwire 3.52 M33? Interested in that one! is it good for isos though?

To check and see if it's fake:

On the PSP menu, scroll over the memory stick icon on either GAME, MUSIC, or VIDEO and hit triangle. Click on information.

If under Magicgate it says Supported; then it's real. If it says anything else then it is fake.
