Hi, I tried looking through the threads and searched for this topic but I was not able to find anything. I was just wondering if turning on Region Free on your Wiikey is different than using any type of region patch software to patch your ISO. I've looked at the Wii Region Patcher Compatibility List and I'm wondering if it applies to the Region Free Wiikey setting. Thanks in advance.

No there is no difference between a region patcher program and region override on the Wiikey.

The "Wii Region Patcher Compatibility List" can also be followed for region override on your Wiikey.

Just make sure you turn region over ride ON. You then do not have to use a region patcher to patch the ISO image.

Make sure you take precautionary measures to insure you do not region brick your Wii. Go to the link below for more information...

Yeah, I've been going through your thread. It is so informative and I learned a lot. I just apply my Wii Brick Blocker and turn on the region override and I'm fine right? Thanks a lot larry.
