I really do not know much about the Xbox and I am debating between an Xbox and PS2 premod. Soemthing that would make my decision easier would be to understand better: 1 - Can they read dvd +r media? 2 - Why is it better to have a larger hdd? 3 - How effective is the Xecuter Lite 2.2 chip? 4 - And last, How easy is it to play backed-up games (does the chip constantly need to be flashed?)? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Well i used to have a PS2 modded. I had the no solder chip with teh swap discs for it. I only used DVD+R's for it and they worked fine. Xbox can read both, depends on the dvd drive though. Some dont like certain brands. The only real advantage to a larger hdd is you can just have all your games there and they load a lot faster. I personally have the 2.2 Lite + and i love it. And no you only need to flash it once.
