If I were you I wouldn't overburn. I have heard overburned CDs don't work on all players.

Use virtual dub to cut off some of the ending credits (or beginning credits).

Really easy, just look at EDIT in virtual dub. Don't forget to check off direct stream for both video and audio.

hope this helps

Or you can re-encode the file to a lower bitrate so that it fits into a DVD. Just open the file, got Video -> Full processing mode and Audio -> Direct Stream Copy and Source audio.

Then go Video -> Compression and select DivX. At the settings select a lower bitrate (or use a bitrate calculator to see what bitrate will create the file size you want) and finally go File -> Save as AVI and you are done.

Of course the way jvillar suggested is better, but I thought you may have already chopped the credits!

703 MB isnt an overburn dude! LOL Only when you get to the 720-740MB mark is it overburning! :-)

I dunno about RecordNow but in some apps you need to enable the overburn. Or try out BurnAtOnce; BurnAtOnce, a free, easy to use burning application specializes in burning CD Images. For more info visit http://www.afterdawn.com/software/cdr_software/cdr_applications/burnatonce.cfm
