really simple:

make folder ISO on psp (at root ms0:/ISO), place isos in it
run them by selecting memory card on psp and they will appear there

1.52>2.0>1.5>3.40 OE-A>3.71 M33-4
3.60>4.01 M33-2

on ur psp:

1) go to system settings
2) format ur memory stick
3) connect USB cable
4) go to system settings
5) select USB connection

on ur computer:

1) browse the removable drive detected
2) create the folder named ISO in mstick:\ (if not already there)
3) put ur games in there

check if its in on ur psp

Just format your memory stick, on your PSP go to "System Settings", and then "Format Memory Stick".

Then when you connect your PSP to your PC it should have the correct folders already made for you.

Then with the .iso's you have, just drag and drop them into you ISO folder (first make sure you've extracted them if they are in a .rar file)

Well, that shouldn't be happening, it's something to do with the game you put in the ISO folder i would think.

Connect your psp to your pc, go into the ISO folder and right click on one of the files, then click "Properties". In the window that comes up, what does it say next to "Type of file:"?

The reason there were lots of files was because most downloads break the .rar file down into lot's of sections, but when you extract it using winrar it automatically puts them all back together.

I am using Custom Firmware M33 3.52 and I want to update to the latest version which is M33 3.52-2 but don't know what folder or folders to use.It has been over a year since I last did this so I am really rusty and forgot how to.

I downloaded the update but I just don't know where it goes.In my PSP I have the following folders:MP_ROOT

PSP folder-contains GAME,MUSIC,VIDEO,PHOTO,and SAVEDATA
ISO folder

Inside my PSP folder I also have the following subfolders:Inside the GAME folder I have folders kxploitpatcher% and M33CREATOR and last but not least I have the 3.52 M33UPDATE folder. So where does the update go because the update folder has several other folders in it.

you say you are on CFW 3.52 M33 and wish to update to 3.52 M33-2...

then simply place the M33Update folder (which contains only an EBOOT.PBP file) inside Game150 and run it from the memory stick.

that's the thing, I don't have a folder called GAME150 on my PSP. I have that folder on the M33update folder.

Do I copy that folder and put it in my PSP? If so in what folder do I put it in?

In your GAME150 folder create a folder called M33Update or whatever you want it to say. Place the M33 Update EBOOT in that folder.

That isn't a PowerISO file that is a generic ISO. Any ISO program can open that.

@All
If your ISO's wont play then they may need to be rebuilt with a program like UMDGen. I have Burnout Dominator in ISO form. At first it wouldn't work so I thought it was a bad rip. But then a second rip didnt fix it. So I extracted the contents of the ISO and rebuilt the ISO with UMDGen the resulting ISO worked perfectly.

Usually the file type that is listed is specific to the programs you have which can open it with. In anand_'s case this is PowerISO.

If you format your memory stick from the option on the psp menu, then it will create it for you, otherwise make the GAME150 folder here: ms0:/PSP/

one last question. If I plan on doing future M33 updates do I still need the M33 Creator and M33 Update folders on my Mem Stick? Do I also need the Kxploitpatchers folders as well?

now that you are on CFW you do not need the kxploit folder as it runs 1.50EBOOTS fine

for the non-FW updates (ie. 3.52 M33-x) you only need to run the update eboot from a folder, but for the FW updates (say, 3.60 M33) you will need to do the M33Create thing again.

however, now that you are on CFW you can re-format the ms as you don't need any of the folders to use the CFW

I recently got a PSP with firmware version 3.52 M33. I have a few isos, but the only thing is, they aren't isos. I got them from a torrent, and when they finish, I unzip them, and then they are isos, but going into properties, it says they are WinRAR files. How do I change the one WinRAR file to iso file?
