hi,

I have just purchased a d box for my dad and i have just a couple of queries regarding the item.

Mine is coming with an F-Coax adapter. Is it better to use the f type cable or buy a coax one?

On mine ive got a splitter with 2 f type cables and the lead running from the white box to the splitter.(one to my cable box, and the other to my d box).

What sort of lifespan will a d box have? Mines been 6 months so far, i know of another whose had his a couple of years.
Is the d box the best cable box to have? Is anything else coming out soon?

This box is coming with Latest Neutrino Linux Neutrino Sportster UK. Is this a good image? I wouldnt know how to flash a image onto a dbox incase i messed up.

What is the deal with the Film PPV? As ive noticed if you put it on at 10am or every two hours following you get 8 minutes of the film thats on.
