i would like to play socom 2 on the us servers!
i have a pal ps2!
i am going to buy swap magic!

while i know that swap magic pal version will enable me to play a us copy of socom 2. will it enable me to play the copy online. i know nobody can get on socom 2 with a copied disk, so i am going to purchase the us disk if it will work.

so just to sum it up:
i buy swap magic pal version.
put in disk, remove and insert socom 2 us version.
sign onto us servers.
play on us servers.

please help.
also i am not meaning to sound sarcastic i just wanted it to be understood first time as i can't wait to be certain it will work!

Swap Magic won't let you play online games. First of all, do you wanna play a US copy of Socom 2 in the US servers or a UK copy in the US servers?

To play online games with swap magic, you need to use the guide on this forum to play swap magic online by bypassing DNAS.

If your copy of Socom is american, you'll have to take some more steps.

So, if your copy of Socom 2 is america, the setup you have will not work.

i have a uk ps2.
could i access the us servers using a us copy of socom2 on a uk ps2.
or could i access the us servers using a pal copy of socom 2 on a pal ps2.
please help.
neither copy of socom 2 would be backups. both the real disk.

oh by the way the reason swap magic came into the equation was so my ps2 would run the us version of socom2.

also i have paradox machine id changer BUT cant find a good help file on the internet of how to use it! lol please help im in your hands!!!!

I think you can connect to the US servers if you have an online PAL copy. But if you don't have crystal chip, you need to have an original US copy then make a patched online backup of it + you gotta have a US Link and Console ID.
