I just bought a 4 gig memory stick for my psp, i had flashed it last week with the one gig stick I had, everything worked, i was able to play isos and everything, now i put this new card in, copy everything from one over to the other, and nothing will play. I don't know why this is happening and I've tried everything I can think of. I'm running firmware 3.40 oe-a. If anyone can help me that would be much appreciated.

Format your 4gig in the PSP, this will create all the right folders.

I tried doing that... and dropping the iso's in the iso folder that the format created... still nothing. It's honestly a headache!

Go into RECOVERY MODE select configuration and in there is an option to run the GAME folder as 1.50 homebrew.

That doesn't work either. It's bizarre. I've tried reflashing it with the 4 gig stick, but no games will load. Not iso's or cso's.

make sure there is a UMD in your UMD drive. that is one of the reasons that it wont play.

there is a lot of dodgy 4 gb sticks on the market that will only boot games that are less than 1 gig, try an iso that is less than 1 gig in size...

Well if your psx games are isos then it will not play. You need to put them in the EBOOT.PBP format

for psx games people generally have better luck w/ either sony branded sticks or sandisk sticks.
it's nothing really wrong w/ a lexar stick, but for some reason they might not get full functionality from the psp....not sure why, too late for an exchange @ Fry's?

I think the problem is that he is trying to play the PSX Iso rather then the eboot.
