I've had my ps2 for a few years now with a DMS3 modchip installed, and it has always worked perfectly, but recently almost every game i put in, original or backup, results in the red screen where it says something about enter a playstation disc. I looked inside and all modchip connections looked fine, so i was wondering if that was a laser problem, or a mod chip problem. I've never gotten a "disc read error" by the way, just that red screen
