i just bought a psp last week when i was on hols so am new to all this. i read quite a few things out there about how to play downloaded psp games using a loader and an iso of a umd. i have recently downloaded prince of persia revelation and a few other psp iso files. can anyone help me out with this plz. i have read some other posts on this but dont understand much about this. my psp firmware is 3.40 thats what was already on it. i have also noticed that game loaders use mainly fw 1.50 or 2.00 to use. am not too sure if down grading the fw could wreck or stops being able to update the psp as it does originaly.

anyone help answering a few questions..

thanks

THE ONLY WAY TO PLAY ISO., CSO. IS TO DOWNGRADE TO 1.50 AND THEN UPGRADE TO EITHER 3.03 OE-A OR 3.40 OE-A: FOUND HERE CLICK FIRST ONE

as long as you have the proper tools if you have a ta motherboard like mine was and the proper programs you will not risk any bricking of your psp whatsoever and having a CFW gives you all of the featurers of a normal one plus the possibilities are endless with what you can use your psp for! I would do some research some more any psp under 3.5 can be downgraded from what I have understood! Please do your research I did my psp this week but I did a lot of research and reading you do not want to hop right in and try and downgrade your psp without the proper tools because then you will have a nice paperweight if you do and it bricks!!!

I hope this helps you out,
