OK i am using a 3.40 OE-A PSP i Emulate FW version 3.03 with devhook to run Edison Carters Cheat Device and it dosnt work
i just need help on how to load it
PSP NOOB!

I am new to CWCheat, how does it work?/How do I use it? And I do have it installed and the prx's activated.

Oh, then you probably know more about it than I would..I dont even use it at all..It's on my to-do list though-It looks pretty interesting.

The best, simplist, and stress free way to get the gta cheat device to work, is if you recover back to fw1.50, then upgrade to CF 3.03OE-C. Here is the link to download OE-C:

I asume you no what to do with this now, seeing that you are using 3.40OE-A.
When you have successfuly upgraded to 3.03 OE-C, download this gta cheat device from here:

Also, read the description at the bottum, because it will tell you info about the device. To install the device, all you have to do is copy over the folder that says CHEATS, and leave it in the root of your memory stick, i.e. where the folders PSP and MP_ROOT is.
Then go into the PSP folder, then the 150GAME folder and drag and drop the two folders called "GTACD" and "GTACD%" over into the 150GAME folder on your psp.
Thats it, and all you need to do to activate ither vcs or lcs cheat device, go into the section on ur xmb where all the homebrew are stored, and start it up.
and, i dont think i need to go on any more, you should no what to do at this point.

My psp life: TA-079-fw1.5 -> fw2.0 -> fw2.60 -> fw 2.71 -> fw2.80 -> fw3.00 -> fw3.03 -> fw3.11 -> fw3.50 -> fw1.5 -> 3.40OE-A ->fw1.5 -> 3.03OE-C [to try out the gta cheat device] :)(got bored) -> fw1.5 ->3.40OE-A -> cfw3.52M33-4 -> cfw3.71M33-2(got unstable) -> fw1.50 -> cfw3.40oe-a -> 3.52-M33-3 -> 3.80-M33 -> 3.90-M33

why... cwcheat is so simple... all you do is type cwcheat at google and the newest version should pop up then you put the seplugin folder the is in the ms folder(i think) into the root of your memory stick. then during a game hold the select button and a menu will pop up choose the cheat you want and that is it. there is no need for obsolite firmware and IT WORKS ON ALL GAMES but go ahead and stay with the gta:vcs cheat device you cheater
i believe the newest one is cwcheat 0.1.9 a
