Applying a mod chip to a PSP involves sottering the chip to the motherboard. Unless you have experience in electrical sottering or know someone who has an electrical engineering degree, I truely would leave it alone. What do you need a mod chip for anyway? Thanks to homebrew and OE Firmware, you can anything with a PSP without a mod chip!

Ouch, you fully bricked it? Well, first things first. Did the site you bought the mod chip from not include instructions on how to install? I'd love to help, but I could give you 5 guides to installing 5 different mod chips and attempting the any wrong one and not even a second mod chip will save it. If you bought the PSP within the last year, return it. You get a 1 year warranty, use it.

What do you mean fully bricked, though? Can you get it into Recovery Mode? Turn system on while holding the R-Trigger. If you can get in, your saved. If not, give me a day to see if theirs a way to remote activate the USB driver to the flash. I'll look, but not sure if it can be done.

Is this a typo or did you just say "well i CAN access Recovery Mode"? You can or cannot? If you cannot, why not just follow the instructions? The worst thing you could do to it right now it waste the money you spent on the chip. It's already bricked. What's gunna happen, it gets more bricked? lol.
