sorry to bother u guys, but much help and information is appreciated.

currently i am running my psp on custom firmware 3.03 OE-C. However, i am very interested in upgraded it to the new 3.52 M33. Despite this interest, i feel very insecure about this new firmware. After reading many of the threads regarding this new firmware, i have discovered that many are unsuccessful in the upgrading process, resulting in semi, if not completely, bricked psp. Also, there were no information about how to upgrade from my certain firmware. Please, provide as much information as possible regarding how, and what precautions to make, when upgrading to this firmware (as the readme in the M33.rar file did not provide any information what so ever). thanx a bunch guys

life cycle of my Playstation Portable: 1.00 -> 1.50 -> 2.00 -> 2.51 -> 2.71 -> 1.50 -> 3.03 oec (really good) -> 1.50 -> 3.40 oea (bad) -> 3.52 m33 -> 3.52 m33-4 -> 3.71 m33 -> 3.71 m33-4 -> BRICKED! -> 3.80 m33-5 -> 4.01 m33-2 -> 5.00 m33-3 -> 5.00 m333-6

If you've done your homework, which apparently you have, you already know how unstable and garbagie it is. With them just recently reverse-engineering 3.52, we except glitches, errors, and the HIGH risk of brick. If you already understand all this, then I trust you will understand that there is no way to protect yourself. You want to upgrade to 3.52 M33-2, go ahead. I installed custom Firmware on mine two days after buying it. If something goes wrong, take it back to store and lie and say you upgraded by means of UMD and it corrupted it. If yours is under warranty, go ahead and do it. And with all CFM, there is no noob-proof, guarenteed way to upgrade without risk of brick. But hey, don't take my word for it. Upgrade yourself. Follow these instructions:

Don't forget to install Update #2 for 3.52 M33:

There is no excuse NOT to mod! Don't follow the rules, make them!

It's not the firmware that bricks your psp, it's the person with the psp. Follow each instructions carefully in order to not cause a brick.
