otheros.bld found when installing bootloader!?

I have installed YDL on my ps3 fine, but when i installed the bootloader's the ps3 picked up the otheros.bld not the otheros.self, what can i do to change this, but is there a difference because YDL installed fine, but ive herd that the otheros.bld has something to do with a limited edition of YDL with limited things to do??
