anyways the error is DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue. Failed to read file "D:\" Copy Protection Error - The read failed because the sector is encrypted.
what other programs have others had alot of success with? and tell me if i will need to use this in conjunction with anydvd. i think the problem is with the anydvd, because i can take a copy, which was previously made in dvdshrink, and copy it again. thats works tho. im confused

my neighbour uses anydvd and dvdshrink and never has a problem, it was him who recommended these 2 programs for me to use !
i had the same problem, used the same programs............
what i did after i got the same error, was ripped whole disk to
hard drive with DvDDecypter first, then went back tried again
and it worked.....................
AnyDvD running in background>>>DvDDecypter(whole Disk)to Hard Drive>>
DvDShrink(movie Only)>>>DvDDecypter to Burn>>>>>done>good backup
for some reason NeroRecode kept telling me the blank disk didn't
have enough space on it (movie only)???
ok i have more details for you folks.. i use shrink and anydvd on my personal computer and it works fine. i copied 300 piece of cake.
now i built another system for a friend and that is the one that is not working. it will copy every movie i try with shrink and anydvd. except, the movie has to be a burnt copy. meaning it has no copyright. now when i try to copy a mopvie that is rented from blockbuster or whatever, that is where i get this error.
this leads me to believe that it is anydvd that is not working right. because the copyright stuff is not being removed and/or bypassed. would u agree?
