Hello All!

Hope Im Posting in the right place if not my apologies, My friend and I have been toying around with my mini dv cam and been shooting some sci-fi / action scenes...........my question is this whats the best and easiest to use software out there for fx addition such as lightning fxs and so forth, We are currently doing a Highlander short film for one of my college courses and I cant find a software I can use to simulate "The Quickening" and the end of a Battle. Yeah Im a nerd lol.

Any Help would be Wonderful !
