I hope someone here can help, I feel bad having to come here with my technical problems, but apparently Pinnacle support doesn't exist. I get no confirmation that my request has been submitted, nor does it appear under "My Stuff" in the support page.
Anyway, the MovieBox comes with Pinnacles Studio 11 software. When I capture from my TV, the captured audio comes out slightly longer than the video resulting in a sync problem. In the beginning the a/v is perfectly synced, but as time goes on the audio falls further and further behind. I correct it by using Goldwave's "TimeWarp" function to adjust the playback sampling rate so the audio is shortened to the length of the video. This doesn't make any audible changes in pitch, but it's a pain to do when I have 80 hours of footage to capture 1 hour at a time. Does anyone have any experience with this problem or have any ideas to fix it on capture to save me the extra steps? I'm not sure if the audio is recording slow or if the video is recording fast.
I've tried using other capture software, but they can't seem to be able to use the audio input of the MovieBox, and when I set it to record from my sound-card, some programs record no audio, and other's crash as soon as I change the audio input device.
