How do I Upgrade my 3.03 OE-C to a 3.40 OE-A?

hey...first of all, will version 3.40 be able to play isos and csos too? what's the difference?

if it is the same, can anyone please help me do it? any walkthroughs or anything? :) i really need some veterran help....thanks guys, please reply asap:) if possible

ya 3.40 oea would be able to play iso/cso

difference = u can play the games which require FW up to 3.40

walkthrough = search the forums -.-

in anyways just put the files where u dl for the upgrade in mstick:\psp\games\update (if u are on 3.03 kernel or games150 if u are on 1.5 kernel)

go into ur psp and u should see a DA update under "games >>> mstick" section

ok i did it....after the oeupdatemaker ran, it was successful...now i'm stuck at this situation:

evrything was successful....all i have to do is to click the 3.40 OE-A installer...

if everything was successful, before i click the installer, is it safe now to just click it? will there still be chances of bricking whatsoever?

please reply! i appreciate your help:)

pls do not worry too much.. it should work.. provided u have ur power plugged in at all times and do not turn off ur psp.

there IS risk.. but very minimal. JUST DO IT!

kevin...dunno if you already did it, but I just went through the same thing...

Just be sure youre 3.03OEC kernel is set back to 1.50 (via the recovery menu>>>Holding "R" while turning the PSP on...go to configuration and click the kernel listing which should be set at 3.03 currently)....

THEN run the winstaller...it takes care of the rest...

with all flashing you run a minimal risk of bricking...but I did it successfully three times already, so youre cool...dont worry so much and just hit that X button....

If you did it already...congrats on 3.40OEA!
