hi there, my problem is everytime i watch videos in the internet like for example in you tube my videos always stops, it pauses for a while then it will play again, but when im using my loptop it plays fine it's not stopping, you think i have problems in computer memory? can you pls help me solve the problem, my os is xp and i'm using ie 7.

Yes, Yes... both these are often viewed as problems...ROFL

But on a more serious note, there has to be a marked difference between the two machines. Yes it can be memory, but more likely the CPU speed and Video card capabilities are the cause. Combine all three and you have a problem. If the machine is worth spending on, then an upgrade IS required. To clarify... you have the same ISP for both machines and ONE runs/lags behind, so therefore it has to be the machine...yes?

Care to post the specs of the offending PC? so we can make suitable (hopefully) suggestions for possible upgrading.

hi thanks you for the reply.. but it's not like that because when i first bought it, im watching all my intrnet video very fine, i bought it brand new im using for a year its AMD athlon 64 processor 3400+ its 2.20 GHz 1600Mhz FSB, 512 KB L2 cache ...memory 512 mb video card ATI radeon express 200 i think this spec is very decent enough for a good inrnt video watch,.. but yeah problem suddenly occur its stopping, you think increasing my virtual memory would help how can i increase my virtual memory? ty :}

To adjust your vitual memory, go to START then HELP and SUPPORT and type in vitual memory

Hopefully my suggestions will help, but another member posted a reply to a similar question.(sorry, lost the link) That member replied that the Operating System should adjust this memory short fall automatically. Post back if you have more trouble.

yeah i still have trouble i try to read the vitual memory thing and i dont jknow how to adjust it, or maybe that os memory thing will help too. :}
