i have a psp and it worked fine until 5 minutes ago.... i restored the default settings and BAM! X and O were switched.. im all like WTF! cuz i cudnt do nething.... then i pressed o and i figured out they were switched....I NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM B4! ive pressed the restore thing 3 or 4 times b4 too and it never did this..... i think that the custom firmware i have is japanese now or somin... cuz i have 3.40 OE-A and so i wana know WTH hapened..... is it my firmware that messed my psp up or is it a problem with the psp? and is there any way i can change x and o on the psp? i checked google and this site but i cudnt find anything on how to change it...... PLZ HELP!
question 1. how do u change x and o on psp
question 2. if i downgrade to 1.5 and then upgrade to 3.30 or somin like that wud it do anything? and if so how can i downgrade 3.40oea or uppgrade it to 3.40oea' if possible? PLZZZ HELP ME!

Reninstall the Custom firmware. GOOGLE for 3.40OEA Recovery pack and download it and folow the instrustions from there.
When you finish the process, You will be at fw 1.5 and from there you can reinstall Your custom FW.

Go to recovery menu, advanced, registry hacks, there is a button swap option.

if i can get a reply quickly ill try the registrty thingy to switch the x and o buttuns cuz thats all i really car about.. i fixed the language thing by changing it in the system language part.... i got lucky there... but what exactly do i have to do for the x/o prblem? i cant find the recovry thing on it? where is it? i checked in my mem stick and wasnt there and i checked my psp and i cant see one... so wat do i have to do?

nvm i got it too thnx alot.... specialy the guy with the registry thingy.... it saved my life lol.... but now i have another problem.... one that alot of people have... i cant get my psp to connect to my computer... ive tried 2 dif usb cords one sony and one digital camera cord and none of em work... they work on my friends comp with my psp but not mine... what do i do? i have sp2 and the usbstor.sys and the other stuff... it duznt work on my comp but it duz on other comps... plz tell me wats wrong????

easy all u have to do is take out your battery put it in, hold r will turning it on git will take u to recovery menu click on regestry hack and it will say something about switch x or o and then go back click exit and your done. it was very annoying clicking o all the time
