Hey all

i want to downgrade my friends white psp to 1.5 so i can put the umd loader on it. I have done it before on my 1st gen psp which was easy but now i have heard that on the newer psps it is possible for it to turn in to a brick. I check the motherboard to find the ta 082 (behind the cd drive cover) and i cannot find any model/serial number at all.

If it is all good to downgrade to 1.5 is it possible to tell me where i can download the patch

Well just to make sure tell me if your PSP is a TA-82 by using this pic...


Post back and I will post the appropriate guide. Your PSP can be downgraded without the need for a game like Lumines or GTA so DO NOT UPGRADE YOUR FIRMWARE UNLESS I SAY SO or you may screw yourself over.

Yes you may have it easy. It also may be possible to use the easy downgrader!
