Need help with 1.50 recovery

Alright I want to change and mess with my xmb icons, so I figure I will recover 1.50(from 3.40 oe) and back. Will this give me new(original) topmenu plugins and that sort? If it will, do I recover from recovery menu on startup, or do I need to download 1.50 eboot and such, as I don't know if its already there. I just don't want to brick my psp, so any advice is much appreciated.

BTW I used the Lumines 3.50 downgrader as i have a t-820 or whatever mb. don't know if this affects recovery because I heard it patches the md, but i was not for sure so I figured i post this.

you need to get the recovery pack (google) and paste it in the ms0:/PSP/GAME folder and then recover with recovery menu. If you go back tocustom firwmare you will get the original icons again. and if you want i can just give you the original files so you don't have to go back to 1.50. Note: next time use the edit button instead of posting twice.

recovering doesnt have to do with the version (unless you go to official sony firmware).if you go back to oe then you are fine.
