Use this program to convert your FLV file to avi.Make sure you use the right audio codec though, otherwise the sound will come before they even move their mouth!
The software is free,so don't worry.

I am just starting to play around with videos. I am trying to make a video DVD with .flv files I have downloaded from you tube.I tried to use Super and first convert files from flv to avi (then later use Nero to make a dvd from the avi files). Super converted some of the flv files OK but on others the sound is delayed different amounts to about .5 seconds.
Is there any settings I should be changing in Super?
Is there any free software that I can use to shift the sound to match the video in the avi files?

Well you could convert the movies to mpeg instead.I did and the sound was fixed.Although, the file size will be bigger, but you'll have better quality.

SUPER ©:Freezes every time I click the "Encode" button after dragging and dropping an FLV file into the program. To convert flv to avi, I use moyea flv to video converter, which I googled several days ago and found really powerful, practical and convenient to use for me,I followed a tutorial about how to convert flv to avi step by step, it works fine for me, you can try,
