im on custom firmware 3.40oea, although im sure this happened once or twice on 3.03oec aswell.
When i save my ps1 game it works fine and its saved, u can see it in your saved data, and it usually loads fine too.
But sometimes when i try to load the save file in-game, it doesnt detect it although it is still listed on the memory stick.


Sorry if that doesnt make alot of sense but i really need a way for it to find the gamesave again, it has happened twice today with 2 different games.

is it ur mstick's problem?

in the xmb under music>>>mstick, press triangle and see if magicgate is supported.

if it isnt then u got a fake mstick

i got 2 mem sticks and it has happened on both. I bought the 2gb earlier this year and i remember it happening with my 1 gb before that

are u saying its fake or are u saying its real?

if its real and u have this problem

maybe its hardware issues. or did u mess with ur recovery folder?
