Boogie on semi-bricked Jap wii?

I've tried this game patched with BrickBlocker, but all I get is a black screen after clicking play on disc channel (just like BBA). Is it a normal behavior for Jap wiis, semi-bricked or not?

BTW I`ve saw on another forum that Boogie contains firmware 3.0U, could it be possible?
