I use a HP 8200 series CD-writer, Nero 5.5.8.2 and 80 minute CD-Rs made by Ritek. Lately, I've been burning backup of my MP3s which are readable in my burner but faulty in my CD-ROM drive. Faulty in the sense that almost all the MP3s are readable except for maybe two or three 'rogue' files which, when I try copying/playing in Winamp, I'll get the error message 'unable to read from specified device'. I can also hear the CD-ROM lens moving back and forth and the CD spinning up and down again. One thing though, when I copy those rogue files from the burner into my hard drive, the CD seems to slow down, like as if it's reducing it's read speed, but they still get copied. Could it be that I try to fill the CD to the max (80 min = 703 MB, and I burn almost 698 MB worth of MP3s)?
