Breaker Pro on a v12 Slim PS2???

Hi!

I bought a Pink Slimline PS2 (Which is model SCPH-70003), and a swap magic for my PS2 imports, and a Breaker Pro 1.1 for my PS1 imports, the swap magic works perfectly, but the Breaker pro doesn't boot up at all, just goes to the PS2's 'please insert disk' screen. After reading places, it seems the Breaker Pro doesn't work on some Slimline PS2's, am I right? Is there a trick to getting it to boot? or have I wasted £15??? I was gonna send it back as I assumed the disk was broken, but I stuck it in my PC, and it looked as though it was working fine.

Can anyone help?

Its a PAL PS2 and Breaker Pro, if it matters.
