SHADOW OF ROME HELP!!!!!!!

when i copied shadow of rome and put it in the ps2 it comes up with the memory card screen plus the ps2 disc, but when i go to press the disc to play it, the game just goes into a black screen and then returns to the screen again? ANY HELP?

answer the following:

what media are you using?
what programs did you use to burn and at what speed did you read/write?
did you use image files?
did you download the image or acquire it from a disc you had?

the problem here stinks of a bad copy, so try lowering your read/write speeds and get better quality DVDs. if that doesn't work post it here, and get another image file because that one is probably corrupt.

i used dvd decrypter to read and write at 4x
and i didnt work twice
