WINDVR can record audio fine, but there's no audio when only watching.

I have a Plextor PX-AV100U USB capture device.

I'm using an S-video cable and composite cables for audio.

When I record on WINDVR 3, I can hear audio just fine after I open the file. Or even if I pause live TV and then press play I start hearing it.

But I can't just watch tv normally and have audio. I try other software and some do work, like windows media player classic but the sound is awfull. WINDVR's captured audio sounds very good.

Also, if I try selecting my capture device for the audio setting on WINDVR 3, I can't it's grayed out, and it says line in back line mic, something like that.

But how can that be, when it captures just fine -_-. (also, something that has nothing to do with that, when pausing live tv, I press play and it continues where I left off, I imagine it saves a temporary file on the computer? where would that be).
