NEED HELP QUICK! VideoZilla problem with Vista

I have the full version of VideoZilla, and am happy with the quality of the videos it produces with XVid so far, and the videos are compatible with my Zen Vision:M. However, I am now trying to encode a large number of videos so that they are much small, and compatible with my Zen Vision M. The problem is, I just tried leaving up the conversion window and Switching User so that VideoZilla would be left running. I would like to do this over night. But when I logged back in, VideoZilla was back to zero progress on the video it was encoding. Same when I enter a game and then exit while the encoding process is going on. Is the only solution to leave my desktop up overnight? I'd rather not, since it's a multi-user computer, but I guess I could if I had to. Any help?
