DVD-RW with Vinyl?

Im aware you use DVD+r to burn the games to.. but would a REwritable DVD work? okay and onto my 2nd question, what if it has one of those clear vinyl protective things on the bottom, is it still possible to burn once that is applied?

im not 100% sure but i believe a dvd-RW would work

i wouldnt recommend them tho

I've used a Verbatim DVD+RW and booktyped it to DVD-R and it worked great. I think I was trying out Sniper Elite w/ the color fix at the time.

Booktype, or booktyping/bitsetting , is the process of changing the format of a DVD+R to DVD-ROM while burning a DVD game/movie. Not all burners are capable of booktyping, most notable drives that can are NEC/BenQ/Lite-On. Both DVD Decrypter and ImgBurn have the option to booktype, but if you want to do that, you need to make sure your burner is capable :)

roger.. unfortunately my drive isnt book type capable ;( oh well.. i dont really have much of a problem using DVD-R they arent that expensive..
