I have been struggling for a while. I have now got that shrink package. When I loaded a tv seriers dvd on the bar was compleatey green. In my Roxio package (that was on XP) it said the dvd was GB7.6. Whats going on?

you are looking at the compression. In the upper right hand window there are 4 radio buttons-- no compression, automatic, ratio and still. It is default to automatic and there is a number beside that which indicates the compression. I.e. 86% is 14% compressed or 86% of the original file size.

Your dvd is 7.6 gb but it is compressed by shrink to fit on a single dvd.
