Hi, the story goes as followed:
i own a Matrix Infinity mod chip. when i first purchased it, i bought 25
Samsung's DVD-R DVD's, and when i backed up my games burning on X4 speed it all went great.
now my DVD's ran out of stock, so i bought TDK DVD-R dvd's, because i heard some good reviews about them. when i tried to backup at X4, X8, X2 speeds, my PS2 wouldn't read it. so i bought Verbatim DVD-R dvd's. same problem.
so my question is: what is the problem?
i don't think it can be a problem with my modchip, since when i try to play old games(as in Samsung's DVD's) they work perfectly. but when a friend of mine gave me a game, which worked just fine on his PS2, didn't work on mine.
so the obvious thing was to buy same Samsung DVD's. problem is that i cant find where to purchase them(I live in Israel)
it should say right under the ps2 logo after the boot of any game.if ur sure u have a GENUINE matrix infinity insteadof a clone just go ahead and flash it to the latest version which is 1.93 at www.infinitymod.com
