I could use a little info on doing this. Do I need a copy of GTA in order to do this or is there another way. I'm trying to get the 340-oe on the psp, I currently have the 303-oe. Is it possible to just upgrade to the 340-oe?

If youre already on custom firmware 3.03oe then you dont need to downgrade. Just upgrade straight to 3.40oe. You sure youre on 3.03OE right?

Yes it is 303-oe. I tried to upgrade but get an error 8002014c when I try to upgrade. When I go to downgrade in the recovery mode it shows me the screen and say recovey, but when I go to do it , nothing happens?

are you putting it in the right folder? Try the 3.40 winstaller if youre having trouble manually. What folder do you put it in?

just go to youtube for and type in 3.30 OE-A to 3.40 OE-A and it will shoow you the tutorial on how to do it.

Thanks for the info, I did some more reading and found out that I had to go into recovery mode and change the kernal. I did that and all went well thanks for the info.
