Hey everyone,

I am having a strange problem. I have been doing searches, as I know my error message is quite common, but cannot find anything with the exact problem I am having. When I boot up my computer, I am given the mentioned message everytime. The first time the message appeared, I only had to press Ctrl, alt del once and it restarted and worked fine. However, as a few days have passed, and a few more start ups have been performed, it is taking more and more tries to get the computer started. I have scanned my computer with AVG, which reported no problems. The only thing I can assume is that it is a hardware problem, like my hard drive going out. Please post with any advise / suggestions.

Thank you all in advance,

I would have to imagine that the hard drive is going bad. You may want to check the connections, but, I can only see a hardware problem occurring here.

Darn. I was hoping it wouldn't be that. Do you know any places with good deals on new ones? It is a Sony PCV-RS630G of that makes any differance. Size isn't a huge issue, but at least 100GB is what I would be looking for. I will get to looking at places like new egg, but please feel free to post any other sites that might have better deals.
Thanks for the saddening reply : ( lol

Before you go out and buy a new hard drive. Get a window disc and do a check disk sometimes this solves the problem. You might want to try last known good config its worked in the past for me :)
