my eboot dose not work need help

my eboot does not work i have put it in PSP/GAME/UPDATE and named it EBOOT.PBP but when i try to run it it says. The game could not be run (80020148)

PLEASE HELP

EDIT:

It depends, if you're on, for example, 2.71 and you put the 1.50 Eboot, it won't work because that's not how you downgrade. You can't put an eboot of a lower version than your current version. To downgrade, you have to Google you firmware. If this is not your case, try downloading the Eboot again. We could help you even more if you tell us your current firmware and the eboot's firmware.

As long as it's understandable, it's not that bad. 'dose' and 'does' could have been a typo, let's not be petty.

that error code stands for 'unsupported prx type'
are you trying to run a firmware EBOOT, or some other EBOOT?
the UPDATE folder is only for updating FW

tell us which FW you are on and which FW you are trying to install.
