Hi i am very new to DVD ripping, and i wish to create a VCD of The Matrix, after Ripping the DVD the total size of the rip was 1.9 mb ?!?! and only played about 6 frames which were distorted.

i used SmartRipper 2.41 to rip the DVD and DVD2 AVI to view it following KalEl DVD ripping guide at http://www.dvdripguides.com/dvdrip2b.html

could any one tell me a way of ripping this dvd or what im doing wrong with that method, it has worked for 1 DVD called "first do no harm" very crap title i used as a test.

any advice would be much appreciated,
