Using AnyDVD and Shrink. When Shrink is analysing it shows a black screen in the preview pane for approx. 4% then ok until it just ties up at 14%. The disk plays ok on my PC and in stand alone players X 2. Have tried Decryptor, FABDecryptor and Nero Recode all without success. Any help appriciated. Note, 3 other DVD titles at this sitting without any problems, even a Sony disk. Thanks

Guess I didn't say, but was going to rip to the HD. However, can't even get through the analyzingprocess in Shrink, let alone being able to reauthor and back up the main movie title.

Same here. DVD Shrink won't even READ it, and when i ripped with DVD FabDecrypter, it will NOT burn the first 5 minutes, chapter one, of the film, nor does it show up in the menu as being 99 ins, but 94 mins instead. Any advice? Again, the film will NOT ANALYZE even with DVD Shrink.

I have two different discs. Both stop at around 76% (DVD Decrypter). I've never had a problem until this movie.

Just tried VOBBlanker, and it is taking an hour, but the TIME of the film file WAS 1:39, so it SEEMS to have gotten the entire film, including chapter 1. I will then re-rip with DVD Shrink and see if it plays first in analysis, which I assume it will, and then rips to a DVD shrink file to be Nero'ed. I'l know in 30 mins if this worked. If not, I'll DVD Fabdecrypter it again, and take the first 5 mins with my digital cam and download THAT file and add it to the 1:35 that did rip with DVD Fabdecrypter.

Well, DVDShrink froze on 17 minutes left, DVDDecrypter gave a CRC error, Using AnyDVD and simply copying the VIDEO_TS/AUDIO_TS folders stopped at 6 min. left with another CRC error.
But, it plays fine on both my PC using PowerDVD and on my consumer players....

Just got it. Ran AnyDVD 6.1.6.9 and decrypted to hard drive with DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0. Then I burned to disc with CloneDVD 2 version 2.9.0.3. Good luck

Yes, as stated in original post had also tried with Decryptor and FABDecryptor also Recode without any success. Chapter one of title one also missing with mine too. Don't believe it is a defective disk now if others are having the same results.

On my 2nd attempt, after AnyDVD scan, ran it thru VOBBlanker with no errors, then thru DVDShrink, again OK, creating an .ISO. I then burned it with DVDDecrypter and it came out fine!

Ok - well I have had the same issue backing up this movie, and I have not had problems in a long time with this. I typically use RipItForMe then DVDShrink and Nero to burn. This is usually fail safe. RipItForMe .. yes as many of you posted .. does work and go through the whole process, but then when it opens DVDShrink to analize it freezes up at 14%. So it appears I have the whole movie on my HD, but I can't do anthing with it from there. Any suggestions?
