Hey guys, I have a SCP 3001 PS2. It won't power on when plugged in and I have checked the power cable with another PS2 and the power cable does function. Now when I opened up the Ps2 I noticed there is a connection between the reset and open cd tray and the CD Rom, yet I can completely remove the cd tray and the part of casing with the reset button. Basically I don't see a ribon connecting the power board to the cd tray or reset switch? Does anyone have a diagram of what might be missing, or is this the actual setup of a PS2 which I doubt.

Ok so looking at my other Ps2 I think I found the problem. There are two very thin cables that are suppose to be attatched to the cd tray, but how do I reconnect them?
