I cant find a program to convert a mpeg layer 2 video to an uncompressed AVI, can anybody help?

Uncompressed AVI?-) Do you have any idea how much something like YUV2 uncompressed video stream takes HDD space? One hour movie would require something like 40-120GB, depending on the color-depth and resolution.

But AVI.cfm" class="forum_link" target="_blank">DVD2AVI can do this.

Ah, ok. As said, AVI.cfm" class="forum_link" target="_blank">DVD2AVI can do it. Load the file and Save AVI.
