Qoob SX Chip Installation Problem

I'm trying to install qoob sx. I soldered all the wires and it went perfectly. However, when I turn on the system, I only get the black screen. I hear people mentioning about the green lid on the qoob chip, but I don't even get that. Can anyone tell what could be the problem? Is there anyway to diagnose my installation?
