PLS help how do I set up my receiver/tv/cable box/dvd/ps3?

I have tried to hook up the Pioneer SX-315 receiver to the tv, dvd player, Motorola cable box and my ps3 but, in the end of the hook up I get a humm noise from the subwoofer and I have tried to re-wire but, can't seem to find the problem. Please let me know the correct way to set up my receiver!!!! [It only makes the noise when I hook up the ps3 to my receiver.] PLEASE HELP!!!!!
