Hey everyone. Lately I've changed the PSP firmware version to 3.40 OE-A, but after some time the firmware began giving me problems with the ISO games I've inserted in (Before my fimware was 3.03 OE-C and it didn't give me any prblems). So I've decided to return back to 1.5 using the 1.5 recovery winstaller. It worked, but then I had the demo UMD disk inserted and accidentaly I chose to run the 2.0 official update (that came with the demo). Now I think I would use the MPH downgrader to return back to 1.50. The Problem is that I wish to update my PSP to 3.03 OE-C back again. Can someone be very kind and helpful to show me the neccessary steps to go to 3.03 OE-C. I would very much appreciate any help provided!! Thanks.

You can only upgrade to a custom firmware from 1.50 or from another custom firmware. For example, you can update from 3.03 OE-A to 3.40 OE-A or 1.50 to 3.40 OE-A. So you can only update to a CFW from 1.50 or from another CFW.

However, I reccomend you stay on 3.40 OE-A. Tell us what was the problem you had on 3.40 OE-A, exactly.

I don't know exactly but when I updated my PSP to version 3.40 OE-A at first everything went good and the ISO games worked well but after (I think it was like a week or so) the same games didn't work - "This game could not be started". So I've decided to run back to 1.5. So if I understood well, I can update from 1.5 directly to 3.03 OE-C. Is it that what you were referring to?? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Why not try updating to 3.52 M33-3. M33 has released update #3. They also have a better No-UMD program, reversed directly from Sony. It's worth a try.

There is no excuse NOT to mod! Don't follow the rules, make them!
